UB BRAKE SOLES

Improve your riding just putting the UB brake soles in your shoes! They will give you more grip and confidence over your board, long-lasting shoes and shorter brake distance when you do footbrake.

If you are thinking: “I don’t like soles, bro. You lose the board feel…”. You should know you’re adding 4mm of extra sole to your shoes, so yes, you’ll lose a little bit of feeling, but you gain an incredible feeling of control over your board and shoes last longer. So you are earning more than you lose. 😉

What is the best pattern?

You'll get tons of grip and your shoes will last longer with whatever pattern you choose, the difference compared to the sole of a normal skate shoe is abysmal. Anyways, here you go the specs of every pattern:

How to glue the UB brake soles?

You can put UB brake soles on your old or new shoes, but if you put them on new shoes the finished will be better. 

1. Make sure your shoe soles are clean.
   
2. Sand the surface of your shoes and the UB soles.
   
3. Apply a thin layer of glue.
   
4. Join the two surfaces and wait for 10 minutes.
   
5. Cut the overstanding with a sharp blade.

What kind of glue should I use?

You will get the best results with our UB glue, but you can use any contact glue or cyanoacrylate glue.
