You can apply them to old or new shoes (new shoes give a cleaner finish.)

Make sure your shoe soles are clean.
Sand the surface of your shoes and the UB soles.
Apply a thin layer of glue.
Join the two surfaces and wait 10 minutes.
Cut the overhang with a sharp blade.

For better results use UB Glue.

When your UB Brake Soles are worn out and you want to replace them, you'll first need to remove the old ones. To do this, you'll need
to use industrial acetone.

Pour a small amount of acetone between the brake sole and the sole of your shoe.
Wait for the acetone to dissolve the glue.
Pull and you'll see how the old brake sole starts peeling off your shoe.
Repeat this process until it is completely removed.

The best soles I have tested so far. Long lasting, just the right amount of grip. Flex well with the shoe. I put these on my Vans and I don't really notice any difference expect for the durability of the shoe.I now switch shoes every other season instead every other month. Highly recommend these. I use for slalom skateboarding. Lots of foot braking after each run.

Awesome soles

Awesome soles. The key is a good adhesive and sealing the edges. I have about 500 miles of LDP on my most recent set and they’re about 50% worn. Hard to beat!!

Great product! Useful for repairing shoes that have been worn out from footbraking or to extend the life of new shoes. Footbraking and pushing both feel great! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that is fairly hard to cut even with a razor. Other then that no complaints!

Hi Christian, thanks for the review! The key to cutting the soles effortlessly is to pull the excess rubber outward while sliding the razor. This way, it’s like cutting through butter!
